The Colorado Wrestling Officials Association (CWOA) strives to provide highly qualified high school wrestling officials for the state of Colorado. Our non-profit organization consists of approximately 200 officials statewide. Our organizational structure consists of an Executive Secretary, an Executive Committee comprised of five current members, and 14 Area Directors who are responsible for their geographic areas. The CWOA provides rules certification and professional development opportunities for our officials through rules clinics prior to the season, and work sessions during the season. CWOA also strives to provide professional development opportunities for its members through training, mentoring, and performance evaluation. The culmination of our efforts is when 30 of our members are selected to officiate the Colorado State High School Wrestling Tournament.

Beyond our high school commitment, many of our members officiate at other levels of wrestling. CWOA officials regularly assist in the development of wrestlers through officiating youth, middle school, and pre/post season open tournaments. CWOA officials have also been on the mat for the NCAA Division I tournament and the High School Senior Nationals. This serves as a reminder of CWOA's commitment to improving the sport of wrestling, and the level of success that some of our members have achieved. All CWOA members can be proud of this.
